Shopify 3D print pricing calculator
On your own store there is no marketplace commission, only payment processing. That makes Shopify the cheapest channel per sale, and the calculator shows how much of the Etsy price you can give back to the buyer, or keep. The plan fee is monthly, not per unit, so it is left out.
Shopify fees in this calculator
- Shopify Payments, Basic plan, EU cards: about 2.9% + €0.30 per order. Rates differ by plan and country; edit the preset.
- No listing fee and no commission. Third-party gateways add a transaction fee; add it to the transaction field if you use one.
- Shipping charged to the buyer still carries the payment fee.

- Why is my Shopify margin higher than on Etsy for the same price?
- Etsy charges a listing fee plus 6.5% commission on top of payment processing. Shopify charges payment processing only. On a €20 order that is roughly €1.60 of difference per unit.
- What does a Shopify store cost per unit?
- Per unit, only the payment fee. The monthly plan is a fixed cost: divide it by the units you sell a month if you want it inside your price, or treat it as overhead.
