3D Print Index

Privacy

What this site stores about you, where, and how to have it deleted. Short, because there is not much.

Who is responsible

The operator's legal name, address and contact email are published here before purchases open. Until then, the site is free to use and nothing is sold.

Using the calculator and the index

No account is needed and nothing you type is sent to us. Your calculator inputs live in the page address, so a shared link carries them, and your printer, rate and channel fees are kept in your browser's local storage so the next visit starts from them. That storage never leaves your device; the Forget link under The print clears it.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you across sites. There is no advertising, no tracking pixel and no third-party tracker.

If you sign in

Sign-in is a one-time link sent to your email. We then store your email address, the calculations you choose to save (a name and the calculator's query string), and, if you buy Pro, your Stripe customer id and the status and period of your subscription or Founder seat. This is stored with Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).

Payment details are entered on Stripe's checkout and never reach our servers. Stripe is the payment processor and keeps what it needs for the payment and for tax; see Stripe's own privacy policy.

The index data

The demand index is built from public listings on MakerWorld, Printables, Etsy and a curated list of Shopify stores: model titles, creators, download and like counts, listing prices and dates the sources publish. It contains no personal data about you. Creator names appear as the sources show them; a creator who wants a listing removed can write to the contact page.

Deletion and your rights

Write to the contact page from the email you signed in with and we delete the account, its saved calculations and the billing record within 30 days; Stripe keeps the payment record for as long as tax law requires. You can also ask what we hold about you, correct it, or complain to your data protection authority.
